Parking facilities at the Hotel Kärntnerhof
You can park conveniently at Heiligenkreuzerhof or in the nearby underground parking garage at Georg-Coch-Platz, just an 8-minute walk away. Entry to the Heiligenkreuzerhof is possible daily from 06:00 to 21:00, and on the day of your departure you can leave until 12:00. Parking spaces are available around the clock in the underground garage. The parking fee is € 25,- per night in the Heiligenkreuzerhof or € 25,- for 24 hours in the underground parking garage. You will receive further information at reception on arrival.

Child friendliness
The Kärntnerhof warmly welcomes children. One child up to 12 years stays free of charge in a double room, and we are happy to provide a crib free of charge on request.

Small dogs up to 12 kg are allowed in the Kärntnerhof for a cleaning fee of € 40,- per room and stay or € 100,- in the Christiane Hörbiger Suite. Please inform us when booking if you are traveling with a dog, as not all rooms are dog-friendly. Dogs are not allowed in the Dom Suite and Madame Rosa Suite.

The Kärntnerhof, a jewel in the center of Vienna, shines in new splendor after a comprehensive redesign under the direction of the renowned designer Niccolò Grassi. The perfect fusion of Viennese Art Nouveau, French charm and Italian elegance characterizes the ambience with finely selected wallpaper, velvet-covered furniture and an exquisite art collection by Alexander von Humboldt. With 41 rooms and 3 suites, the hotel offers a unique experience. Known in earlier times as “Madame Rosa”, the hotel tells a fascinating story. Actress Christiane Hörbiger counted it among her favorite places, where her pug Loriot was also lovingly cared for.
Nicole Nagel, co-owner and managing director of the hotel, explains: “For centuries, Vienna was a meeting place for artists, thinkers and traders from all over Europe. We wanted to pick up on this tradition at the Kärntnerhof.” Her experience, shaped by her father Friedrich Nagel’s hotels, was a key inspiration for the design. The Nagel family, active in the hotel industry since the 1950s, acquired the Kärntnerhof in the 1980s. For the redesign, they relied on the talents of Niccolò Grassi and Eline de Potter. Grassi designed most of the furniture and lamps, while de Potter curated the art collection and contributed to the color scheme. The result is an inviting atmosphere, characterized by green-grey boiserie, Belgian furniture and high-quality wallpaper from renowned manufacturers such as Farrow & Ball and Osborne & Little.

U-Bahn und Straßenbahn in de Nähe.Zimmer gepflegt und die Betten fanden wir gut. Dachterrasse für Sundowner vorhanden.Wir kommen gerne wieder. .

Hotel liegt sehr zentral , aber in einer Seitenstraße, daher sehr ruhig. Gut erreichbar, in der Nähe vom Schwedenplatz gelegen. Als Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub bestens geeignet.
